Trinbago Knight Riders at a glance
Trinbago Knight Riders is a men's Twenty20 franchise based in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The team began in 2013 as Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel and adopted the Knight Riders name after the 2015 season.
TKR is the CPL's most successful men's team with five championships: 2015, 2017, 2018, 2020 and 2025. Nicholas Pooran captains the defending champions and Dwayne Bravo, appointed before the 2025 campaign, is head coach.
The 2026 title defence started with a 19-run D/L win over St Kitts & Nevis Patriots. Matthew Breetzke made an unbeaten 35 in the chase, while Sunil Narine's 3/7 and Terrance Hinds' 3/33 led the bowling before rain ended play at 94/2 after 15 overs.
