Editorial and sourcing policy

Each published claim should have a clear origin, a useful purpose and an honest coverage limit.

Research hierarchy

Competition organizers, cricket boards, clubs, venues and authorized broadcasters are our starting points for schedules, playing conditions, squads and rights information. Independent reporting may add context.

Live-score standard

StumpScope publishes normalized updates from supported match centres. We do not copy proprietary commentary or turn social-media estimates into match data. If a feed is unavailable, the last confirmed snapshot is retained rather than inventing activity.

AI assistance

AI may help organize research, review copy or develop site tools. Editors remain responsible for checking names, dates, scores, rights claims and quotations. We do not publish pages solely to target search terms.

Reviews and updates

We change an article's updated date when its facts, analysis or reader value materially changes. We do not refresh dates to make old coverage appear new.
