Multan Sultans at a glance
Multan Sultans are a Pakistan Super League franchise representing Multan and South Punjab. The original identity debuted in 2018, won the 2021 title and reached four consecutive finals from 2021 through 2024.
The 2026 corporate route needs careful separation. Walee Technologies acquired the former Multan franchise rights and relocated that slot as Rawalpindiz. Separately, the new Sialkot Stallionz expansion slot changed ownership, was acquired by Gohar Shah's CD Ventures-led group and received PCB approval to play as Multan Sultans. The familiar name and legacy are celebrated, but the legal slot changed.
Ashton Turner captained Tim Paine's 2026 side. Multan won six of ten league games, finished third on 12 points with a +0.326 net run rate and entered Eliminator 1; Hyderabad Kingsmen's eight-wicket chase ended the campaign, leaving a 6-5 overall record and fourth-place playoff finish.
Steve Smith and Sahibzada Farhan tied on 380 runs, with Smith reaching the total in 11 innings and Farhan in ten. Peter Siddle led the bowling with 13 wickets, while Arafat Minhas combined 144 runs with nine wickets across all 11 matches.
Multan Region, the PCB domestic side, is a different team. Its National T20 squad, results and honours are not combined with this PSL franchise page.
