Islamabad United at a glance
Islamabad United are one of the five original Pakistan Super League franchises. Leonine Global Sports has owned the team since the league's launch, and in November 2025 the ownership agreement was renewed for another ten years.
United won the inaugural 2016 title, became the first two-time champions in 2018 and added a third championship in 2024. They have reached the playoffs in ten of 11 seasons; 2020 remains the only campaign in which they did not qualify.
In HBL PSL 11, Islamabad finished second in the league phase with six wins, three losses, one abandonment, 13 points and NRR +1.667. Peshawar Zalmi beat them by 70 runs in the Qualifier, and Hyderabad Kingsmen then ended their season by two runs in Eliminator 2.
